One vote isn't going to make a difference when the General Assembly is voting. Pakistan is obviously ruled out. India should focus on gaining the votes of smaller countries.

yeah India will and recent two votes (non perm UNSC and ACABQ) show that India has much better support in UN than others like China and Japan. We have good understanding with African union, ASEAN, Middle east, eastern European countries and South America.

Actually I was talking about China specifically.
