IQ vs EQ. The ability to read books vs the ability to read people.I kept saying Japanese lost WWII because of Low IQ. People often confuse technical competency with being smart.
USA never met an opponent smarter than them before. They're trying same tricks they used with opponents of lower IQ but none of them worked on China.
China was dragged down by stupid Qing dynasty allowing inferior entities like the USA to temporarily get ahead. But that was a neccessary step to have Qing unite all of China before we can get to national rejuvination...
It's not like Japan lacked strategists. What they did not have was the industrial and technological parity with US. For every plane, ship or tank Japan produced, Americans were producing 5 better ones. Later battles become lopsided fights because Japanese forces simply did not have the firepower to match US, and their losses were horrific. Because of these losses, their military could not retained experience officers and soldiers to be as effective as they were in the early stages of the war.I kept saying Japanese lost WWII because of Low IQ. The difference today is that China is the bigger industrial power. For every tank, plane and ship American produces, China can produce more at lower cost. The tables have turned.
In my opinion,IQ vs EQ. The ability to read books vs the ability to read people.
EQ is more than just being able to BS people though, it’s also being able to read people’s intention accurately. I think Chinese have terrible skills in BS, but are quite accurate at reading other people’s intentions. In my opinion,
IQ: Chinese ≧ Japanese > Americans > Indians
EQ: Indians > Americans > Chinese > Japanese

Japan challenged USA at a bad timing. USA then was still a ascending power and probably in its zenith. Japan neither had the numbers and tech superiority to ever hope to beat America.
