Part of the problem is that the internet and media today has made it readily assessible to minor and other people with no intention of seeing it.
**** industry ultimately have profits in mind, and when people consumes pornography or related services, they are not contributing to society in a useful way. As **** commercialises people will be doing what ever they can to maximise profit - if there isn't a market, they will CREATE one - complete with all the advertising of how you 'cannot live without ****'. We are masters at rationalising away our short commings.
If you think modern day consumerism is bad, just add pornography to the mix.
Also personally I don't buy the theory that **** adds a release point and prevent people from comitting crime. Rather I think that society is constantly raising the excitement threshold for itself that it becomes more noticeable that people comitted crime when the stimulants are temporarily withdrawn from them.
How many people here actually wouldn't mind their female(or male) relatives or family members being in the **** industry?
