China rushing to beat US in the race to space

Why is there so much emojis on a political/military forum. If I didn't know any better, I thought I was talking to my girlfriend.
:wave::rofl:

that's a cute panda you got there

. .
I don't have as much time as I use to, but I get where you're coming from. Consider her dumped. :dirol:

Thanks, should we make out now, since you just complemented me on my Panda.

I have yellow fever but not for the men

That's the spirit! I've found that the best relationship is to keep replies very short and ask questions that are of a general nature. That way they spend vast amounts of time thinking of a reply and in some strange fashion imagine that the conversation in their head is actually a conversation with you

. .
I see our American friend is a little bit too concern about our space research. Let us assure you our intention for space is very peaceful. If that not enough, sign a mutual space treaty of non-weaponization with us. Action should speak louder than talk. LOL

. .
Why don't you get on the bed and find out.

I'll pass buddy ;)

back on topic.

one of the articles points is that China is launching more rockets than the U.S, and this is true.

however though Falcon 9 is going to increase it's production of rockets cores from 6 to 8 a year to 18, and then finally 30 cores a year !!! with a Falcon 9 launch every 2-3 weeks in the near future :yahoo:

SpaceX to Increase Rocket Launches to Every 2 to 3 Weeks this Year

a private space company might send more rockets into space than Russia,China, and Europe :usflag:

Depending on which Space Race the Chinese here are talking about.

Race to the Space - Russia Won in 1957
Race to the Manned Space flight - Russia Won in 1961
Race to the Moon - US Won in 1969
Race to Explore Planet Mercury - US Won in 1973 with Mariner 10 Probe
Race to Explore Planet Venus - Russia Won in 1961 with Venera 1 Probe
Race to Explore Planet Mars - US Won in 1964 with Mariner 4 Probe
Race to Launch Rover on Mars - US won in 2012 with Curiosity Rover
Race to Survey Mars - US won in 2001 with Mars Global Surveryor
Race to Explore Planet Jupiter - US won in 1973 with Pioneer 10
Race to Explore Planet Saturn - US, ESA and Italian Won in 1997 with Cassini Hyugen Space Probe
Race to Explore Planet Uranus - US won In 1986 with Voyager 2 flyby
Race to Explore Planet Neptune - US won in 1989 with Voyager 2 flyby
Race to Explore Dwarf Planet Pluto - US won in 2015 with New Horizon Probe flyby
Race to Discredit 9 Planets Theory - US won in 2006 (For those who don't know, the solar system have 8 planet officially)
Race to Break Escape Velocity from this Solar System - US won in 1983 with Pinoneer 10 Probe break free of Neptune
Race to Break out of Current Solar System - US won in 1983, see above
Race to the Heliosphere - US won in 2012 with Voyager 2 cross the Heliosphere
Race to Broadcast Earth material in extra-solar system. US won with Voyager 2 Cross out of Heliosphere blasting a golden record contain Image and Sound of Earth (Shame the first thing these ET heard is Chuck Berry)
Race to Built Re-entry Space Craft - Russian Won in 1957 with Soyzu Spacecraft.
Race to the Build Space Station - US, Russia Won in 1998

There aren't much other race China can win, for example, Voyager 2 is always going to be the further Probe send from earth regardless of the speed of other probe However, the Race of "Furthest" exploration is up for grab as technology evolve would make the life of probe survive longer, currently the newest deepspace probe launch by human is the New Horizon Probe launch by NASA which will expected to reach E-O-M status in 2026. By then the last objective known to Human was to observe KEO 2014 MU69 which lies outside our current Solar system.

The other race left to win by China would be Colonization of Each Planet, Rover Sent to Each Planet and Moon (except Mars, and Earth moon) and Material discovery. That's probably it.

There aren't much other race China can win, for example, Voyager 2 is always going to be the further Probe send from earth regardless of the speed of other probe, as it exited Heliosphere, probe would enter terminal velocity (Which mean every probe travel at the same speed) However, the Race of "Furthest" exploration is up for grab as technology evolve would make the life of probe survive longer, currently the newest deepspace probe launch by human is the New Horizon Probe launch by NASA which will expected to reach E-O-M status in 2026. Seem Chinese government ploy to deviate Chinese people attention from the real issues and problems.

They probably claiming "Since they were not part of the race, they request a redo to all that...."

anyway, There are actually not much the Chinese can win, even if they launch a deep space probe today, unless some sort of Space-Time continuum breakthrough (Like Space Jump or Space Warp), they cannot go further then the American did. That's just physics.

EDIT:: Something wrong with my T Key...

China is hemorrhaging $100 billion of reserves a month, and has a debt problem (which is funny coming from an American)

not trying to be a hater, but these Chinese egos are more inflated with hot air than their economy.

if you can point out any SPACE RESEARCH that China is doing now and into the future that another space faring country hasn't done I would like to know.

competition is good though :coffee:

Yes...there is not much left to be 'first' in space unless of course if human discover much faster space travel vehicles. Major milestones have already been conquered by US and USSR. I guess there are few things such as 'human settlements' outside earth or mining minerals in outer space and bring back to earth.are yet to be done using present space technology.

I agree...Chinese economy is slowing, debts are increasing, NPA are increasing, reserves are falling and even their currency is loosing value with respect to dollar.
