It's truth that Vietnam was indedendent state of Lac Viet (Ye Lang) in southern China today, before a time when Chinese invaded. we regained Independence from China 938 year and we lost Guangxi and Guangdong. Chinese can stop lying about history.

North Vietnam in the past was part of China and South in the past was part of Khmer.
There was no such thing as Dai Viet kingdom in South China, most of inhabitants in South China were simply as Chinese as it is today.

Dai Viet had nothing to do with South China, meanwhile it didn't even include some part of the modern North Vietnam, it definitely belonged to China.
Vietnam owed China a lot of territory, and we will take it back in the future.
