Hyderabad: China is ready to invest about $160 billion in different sectors in Andhra Pradesh and improve bilateral ties with India, according to economic advisor to the President of China.

Shoosan Maa, the economic advisor to Xi Jinping and also the Member of Parliament, met Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy in Hyderabad and discussed plans to invest in sectors like food processing, small-scale industries, infrastructure and education, among others, a CMO release said.

While quoting Shoosan on China's intention of pumping in $160 billion in the state, the release did not state any timeframe or phases in which such a huge investment could materialise.

"The Chief Minister invited proposals and asked Shoosan to spell out the areas in which they were interested in investing. Shoosan said he would make efforts for promoting investments and improving relations between the two countries," the release said.

Shoosan said his country would send 10,000 students to Hyderabad for education in various streams, according to the release.

$160 billion:cheesy::cheesy:Its huuuge.:cheers:

But keep them away from telecom sector..:agree:

You sure it's not Misprint 160 Billion is a very large amount
Maybe it's 160 Million

Buddy apart from government no one can stop them now... Huawei is already biggest player because of low cost as compare to other European and Israeli companies.

Huawei was a biggest player in India only in the optical transmission sector. Now their huge competitor is Tejas Networks(which won the CSIR award from MMS last year), in India Army, BSNL, their complete backbone networks are implemented with Tejas equipments.

And the next biggest revolution in telecom will be on MPLS-TP, in which Tejas already leads Huawei. Now SACOFA Malaysia handed over a project to Tejas to implement MPLS-TP network in Kuching, this project came to Tejas after Huawei failed to implement in the given time schedule. It's widely been agreed by the people who worked in Tejas &Huawei devices, that Tejas is way ahead in ETHERNET Platform,EOS. But yes, Huawei leads Tejas in different sectors like wireless technologies, where Tejas lacks.

Yes, $160 billion investment will be good for us. And we have a lot more to learn from them.

welcome.. :D
i'm falling in love with chinese :ashamed: but lets wait till we get it

I know Tejas Networks is a master of SDH and no one beat them in low cost. Gov adopt Tejas only because of its Indian origin nothing else.
But still if government support them they can really change every thing.

You belongs to Kerala???

This will happen only if the Telengana problem is solved. Will the CHinese still be interested after the state has been divided into two different counterparts is yet to be seen.

You can check with your friends who are working in Tata Communications , Airtel, whether more number of Tejas devices are in their network or Huawei.

I am not from Kerala, from Tamil Nadu. And for your information, AIRTEL's complete network in Kerala is made of Tejas devices, you can't find even a single foreign vendor device.
