I have used enough high speed railways thank you very much. Its very good alternative to flying, especially when you consider travelling to airport and checkin.

But that said it does not make alipay any more convenient or tracking kids like livestock justifiable.

Actually what @313ghazi saying is happening in China. People do not associate with those with lower social credit score because it can affect theirs too. And honestly, if you have to brag about your credit score on internet, it shows whatever Chinese government is doing to make you obey is working. Next, you will not date or marry someone will lower social credit score. Good!

Purpose of prison is to remove a harmful person from society and punish them by denying social contact with society at large. Schools --atleast the ones which I attended-- were exactly opposite of this.

Prison also serves some function of education, which is the main function of schools. It is not surprising for them to share some similarities, for example, the emphasis on discipline, such as you are not supposed to skip classes..

Therefore, nothing is wrong here for us to put some smart devices on those pupils just to improve the quality of education. It is just like we install traffic cameras to prevent traffic violations...
