Just my two-cents.. every attempt be it Chinese Space Station or any research work per se should be justified by the national requirements.. and not to rebuke some half-wits.. The drive should always come from within.. not by comparison but by the need of it..

Taikonaut Liu Yang and her lucky man!

Liu Yang, 34, is one of the three taikonauts who was carried by the Shenzhou-9 spaceship for China's first manned space docking mission with the orbiting Tiangong-1 space lab module.

Liu was selected as a taikonaut in 2010.
