China police clashing with Muslims from China’s Hui minority after they were barred entry to a mosque,

Don't try and pretend you're doing charity work. China's work in Pakistan is almost exclusively about China's own interests. We all know the investments are a way to counter China's heavy reliance on the strait of Malacca.

It's funny, you shills can't even get your narrative straight.

You suggest that China is doing this out of the goodness of its own heart, the other guy says it's purely a strategic decision.

Between the two of you I'm more inclined to believe the other guy.
u gotta remember their whole purpose on this forum is to use their commie era propaganda methods to convince the few of us here that somehow we need china

when the reality is that we've always been better off with the americans

the whole relationship is a formality from the mao era

If there's no reason for Pakistan for this buiness Pakistan wouldn't be in in the first place, business is also two ways, if a business only benefits one party, it can't be conducted.
China does want to diversify it's energy route, but it's not in a hurry, besides, Russia and central Asia are more convenient suppliers.

"we" means Pakistan or US? We admit we target US cause US targets China first, they picked the fights, if you mean Pakistan, then no, we never have this motive.

Are you too slow to understand that two different people have two different opinions? It seems so. And if you're too slow to understand that, you're certainly far too slow to understand that China's supporters aren't "shills."

.
China wants Pakistan and Pakistanis to trust them, but all I can see is that China is USA-2.0.
China never ever tries to stop you from having cozy friendly relations with US and the west, does China? non interference is the corner stone of the Chinese foreign policies from day one.

.
Then save your outrage for when China uses this so-called influence to have mosques in Pakistan demolished. Until then, what happens in China is China's business an no one else's.

I don't see this at all. China and Pakistan have a strategic partnership based on an enduring convergence of geopolitical interests. China is interested in containing India and Pakistan is interested in surviving and defending itself against the mortal threat India poses to it. Where's the "trust" here?

Cheaply sentimental rhetoric like "higher than mountains and sweeter than honey" is for the rubes. China and Pakistan are strategic partners, not lovers. The only influence China wants in Pakistan is for Pakistan to be able to stand on its own feet so it can be a useful partner. A weak and failing partner is worse than useless.

For a moment, I could not believe, that you guys can write such a rude post about Pakistan.

China and Pakistan are useful for each other, "friendship and trust" is always two ways, never one way.

Never mind, I have seen so many of these Himalayan Mountain types of friendship stories in the last 70 years.
There is a difference between friendship and allies. Allies always look for benefits in their relationship whereas friends do not exactly expect any immediate benefit out of your friends.

It is just like Pakistan and India's rivalry created a situation where Pakistan made strategic relations with China to counter India from all sides. Pakistan and its people see themselves in every Muslim in this world. We may like it or not, but they are emotional about their religion and prioritizes religion than rest of the things. So we will simply wait and see your so-called friendship in the future.
If China does not treat its Muslim population the way other Muslim countries expect, there will be a reaction amongst Pakistani citizens even if it is muted.

Only the energy supply lines from Russia and central Asian countries are really critical, urgent and safe for China's security and development. All the rest BRI projects are not too important and urgent for China even though China gets to diversify its trades along the routes from the West. CPEC is an alternate strategic trade route from China to Middle East and Africa, Pakistan also benefits from CPEC. But, if US navy is able to block Chinese ships at strait of Malacca in time of conflict, then China would certainly not expect the sea lanes from the Persian gulf and Africa to Gwadar port to be operational since US navy is stronger there and can easily cut off the Chinese sea routes in the Arabian sea.

What a shit argument to make.

Y'all feel the need to constantly comment about other nations, and spread your propaganda on PDF, but when you get the same treatment, we should mind our own business?

Hypocrisy at its finest.

Also, I agree that the relationship between China and Pakistan are strategic, not friendly. That is however undermined by the constant Chinese propaganda that is constantly pushed on Pakistanis by China, you can see it here on PDF.

And thank you for calling Pakistan worse than useless.

@SQ8 @LeGenD @RescueRanger

More proof of what "our friends" really think of us.
Pakistanis hold a higher opinion of China than it really deserves while the Chinese in general think little of Pakistan - even those that have lived in it and profited heavily from it and that is their nature not some criticism . That higher than mountains and deeper than oceans is just diplomatic niceties and state level messages - it is a VERY VERY transactional relationship

No one is above the laws, be them Han Chinese or ethnic minorities.

And why countries become friends? You don't know Pakistan used to be a staunch US ally constantly criticized China untill China gave a blood nose to India, do you?
And you are absolutely right - Ayub Khan even went to India to propose a joint alliance to combat the “red menace” to the north(China) while trying to secure some concessions on Kashmir until the Indians sent him about faced.

And which country has stabbed Pakistan in the back many times in times of need despite being allies ?

Even those Chinese who might hold positive views of Pakistan and Pakistanis, will do a complete 720 when they actually interact with and meet some.

It’s an internal matter. Let China worry about its citizens, we have enough concerns of our own.
