Excellent post.
We just need to look in our neighbourhood to see what is in store for Muslims:
1. Myanmar - Rohingya
2. India - Kashmiris and now all Indian Muslim
3. China - Uighurs
I am so hopeful that we may be able to start the process of having a united Muslim bloc that can look out for the interests of Muslims worldwide.
The following countries should form the core now:
1. Turkey - Most industrialised Muslim country and a large population
2. Iran - Decent tech, large population and massive energy reserves
3. Indonesia - Decent technology and economy and largest Muslim population
4. Malaysia - Richest non-oil Muslim country
The following 2 should join within a decade when they are free of Gulf states and China:
5. Pakistan - Strong conventional military and only Muslim nuclear power. Strategic location on the Arabian Gulf
6. BD - Fastest growing economy and large population.
If these 6 Muslim countries formed a united bloc then not only will their citizens be better off but they could do so much more for all other Muslims around the world.
That is a very meaningful suggestion. I agree with all points except one which I won't mention since that will generate long replies from "fellow self declared secular" overseas Pakistanis. I am really busy and can't go through replying them. Don't worry that has nothing to do with Bangladesh.
I became against china when a Chinese named "Beijingwalker" posted here a video of Syrian kids saying "kill our enemies" etc. Those kids were traumatized by severe suffering, war, hunger, violent deaths in the family and looked smiling ONLY because children develop "trauma dissociated states" where they are still psychologically shocked but don't show it overtly.
Meaning those Syrian kids were in deep inner unconscious psychological fear, anxiety and pain. When kids are that traumatized, they expressed their inner suffering by becoming angry and hateful. Yet that insensitive "beijingwalker" cherry picked that video to show us that "see how hate filled these muslims are, even their children like killing" rather showing sensitivity to their extreme suffering and trauma behind those statements. They were being bombed for God sake. His hatred to islam in general became exposed. If he or others cannot show empathy to those children, they are themselves hate filled people.
Whether western or Chinese, their children would have said the same, under the same circumstances. Those little Muslim angles who just came to this world few years ago, were expressing their anger at this world that why they are being put through such immense suffering by those "enemies". But hate for arabs was so strong in some people (who in their hate didn't even spare traumatized children) and that muslim hating sri-lankan etc. were using that to express their own respective hates. Its their own hearts, which were filled with hate yet they were projecting it on those traumatized kids.
So I started avoiding chinese posts from that point on wards. Now resurfaced Uighur issue added further anger.
Meantime I want to emphasis that we should not go too far against China so much so that we become western puppets. This is not in the interest of Islam as a whole.
The reasons is that the western countries now want Muslim to be yet another cannon fodder for their anti-china war, just like against soviets before.
Their aim would be to create another civil unrest in the Muslim world in the future.
For example in Pakistan it is estimated that over a million Chinese may be working by 2030. Similar number more or less may be working in Bangladesh.
By inciting local population against Chinese workforce , they'd want to create civil unrest so that china is economically harmed and is drawn into local skirmishes with "Chinese friendly countries". This would mean Chinese influence will be diminished, and china will be hated and those Chinese friendly countries will be significantly weakened too. These weakened chinese friendly countries will then live like a puppet western states once again. They will have no where else to go.
The point is Muslims must not become party to chinese-western war.
Since western countries
when they are not busy with china, they will be
busy terrorizing Muslim nations by the following
standard procedure:
Exploiting, fueling, organizing, orchestrating ethnic, sectarian, and ideological differences by
1. identifying susceptible individuals with required traits (i.e. psychopaths, criminal elements, antisocial and having other psychological problems or just having a hero complex, and/or extremist ideologies), and
2. training and arming them to create terror driven chaos in otherwise stable Muslim nations
3. and then blaming these terrorist acts on those countries and then further weakening those nation (e.g. via sanctions) and finally repeating the above two steps. This time aided by economic and other devastation which further aids the above steps.
Off course bombing the Muslim countries so that enough hatred and mental health issues via trauma, fear, war etc. are created for the above to proceed, again and again.
while at it, robbing and looting Muslim resources. Selling us their overpriced weapons by pitting us with everyone else or each other.
The point is, while we should protest and let Chinese know when we are unhappy with their policies, and try to stop them as best as we can, whether diplomatically or otherwise, we must never join western world
either to fight for their anti-china agenda.
Western countries should face their own enemies. We are nobody's slaves to follow their "world orders".
Instead we muslims should work together creating a united islam and increase our own cooperation to develop and advance our world while trading and exchanging with whom ever and with whatever required.
and Yes I do feel for my rohingya brothers and sisters the same way. Its also our weakness that we failed to even stand up for them. I did supported few rohingya families as syrian and iraqi's among others and still do, by the way. i.e. my feelings for muslims are universal.
I can't write more now. As I am really busy. So this would be last post, this time for real, for a while.
