-there will be laptops whose screens will project holograms to read card numbers because regular laser card readers would be too old fashioned.

The funny thing is that most of their culture, down to their very food is "imported"
Roti comes from Iran and Potatoes/Tomatoes come from South America.
If they were forced to only eat "indigenous" foods they would quickly change their minds and say "stuff from the outside is the best"
