j-10 will be flying soon so Pakistani should be happy about it, what would be worst - if Russia didn't supply the engine, and the project hung in flux. so Chinese or Russian engine not too much of difference, its just that Russian engine is more reliable.

China will sooner or later develops good engine , I have no doubt about that - see this as a case of when China has just refused to compromise on the Quality of J10 and wants to go with the one which will give it the best performance , BIG DEAL.........
