China needs to be more vocal in support of Rohingyas: Bangladesh

Combined Muslim countries with 1.7 billion people should be rich. I guess it's up to the white man to come save you Rohingya.
As muslim countries not geographically located in the same region neither politically aligned to the same cause, yet they can certainly help but white man will make a whole lot of difference.

But China by itself could change the fate of the Rohingyas.

Pakistan Movement
During the Pakistan Movement in the 1940s, Rohingya Muslims in western Burma organized a separatist movement to merge the region into East Pakistan. The commitments of the British regarding the status of Muslims after the war are not clear. V Force officers like Andrew Irwin felt that Muslims along with other minorities must be rewarded for their loyalty. Muslim leaders believed that the British had promised them a "Muslim National Area" in Maungdaw region. They were also apprehensive of a future Buddhist-dominated government. In 1946, calls were made for annexation of the territory by Pakistan as well as of an independent state. Before the independence of Burma in January 1948, Muslim leaders from Arakan addressed themselves to Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan, and asked his assistance in incorporating the Mayu region to Pakistan considering their religious affinity and geographical proximity with East Pakistan. The North Arakan Muslim League was founded in Akyab (modern Sittwe) two months later. The proposal never materialized since it was reportedly turned down by Jinnah, saying that he was not in a position to interfere into Burmese matters.

When British retreated from Asia, it's the most easy chance to resolve Rohingyas issue, however they were abandoned. After 70 years collision, you expect China to change their fate?

Another fact, the Rohingyas community had been giving their loyalty to British. US accepted lots of Hmong people because Hmong helped a lot during Vietnam war, UK should take Rohingyas as many as possible to maintain their 'most civilized nation' as some PDF member claimed. The Rohingyas deserve the right and assistance from UK.

Please have some logic. They were part of British Empire, they fought for British. UK, US, China were alliance during WWII, this didn't mean they share people. Are Rohingyas even relevant with China? Did THE Chinese hire Rohingyas back then? Hmong were hired by US, Rohingyas were hired by British as simple as that.

I didn't say who is 'native' or who is not. I'm only sure that point 1 is a historical issue, AT LEAST from British colonization era, or WWII. This indicate that there's no an easy solution to this problem. e.g. Palestine vs Israel.

You have no idea what you are talking about dude.

Why you let the burmese to persecute the Kokang Chinese? Specially when you have the means to stop it? Why CCP thinks, material interest is everything, human life is nothing? When China will start valuing human life and dignity over petty interest? You may attain number one position in the world in economy or military, but you will not earn any respect in the world, countries around the world will still look towards USA for guidance and mediation and will identify China as a self serving monster looking for only exploitation of the world's resources.

Hate to break it to you but in the real world countries don't give a damn about human beings, although they may often pretend to to achieve their own political gains ( Think America's supposed concern for the Syrian people).

Good.
Focus on talking about Japanese and Indians

All that BD wants is for China to not block
UN action against savage Barmans. No one
is asking China to help BD here.

China hopes to influence Myanmar to solve the Rohingya problem

The Chinese Communist Party has assured the Rohingya issue of affecting Bangladesh with the permanent resolution of Bangladesh's problems with Myanmar.
A delegation of visiting Awami League gave the assurance that Vice-Minister Li Jun of China's International Relations Department gave a assurance in a meeting held in Beijing on Monday.
In the meeting, he said, "China government will affect Myanmar so that they respected Bangladesh's initiative and discussed with Bangladesh on this matter." China thinks that the permanent solution should be reached to the Myanmar government's Rohingya problems for peace in this region.

Awami League Deputy Office Secretary Biplob Barua said on the phone. The 18-member delegation led by Awami League Presidium Member Colonel (retd) Faruk Khan.

Faruk Khan and Awami League Joint General Secretary Dr. Dipu Moni highlighted the issue of ongoing Rohingya crisis and sought cooperation from the Chinese government to stop barbarism and oppression of Rohingyas. At the same time, leaders urged the China government to play an active role in the permanent solution to the Rohingya crisis.

In response, China's Vice Minister Li Jun said they are fully aware of the Rohingya crisis and the problem of Rohingya refugees. They told the government of Myanmar for a permanent solution to this problem by peaceful means. He said the concerns of Bangladesh will affect the Myanmar government to solve the problem through negotiations.
China's Vice Minister said that Bangladesh's Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has honored humanitarian rituals to Rohingya refugees who have taken shelter in Bangladesh. With respect to such a mentalistic initiative of the Prime Minister, relief will be sent to Rohingya refugees on September 27. Relief will be blanket and tent.

China said their assistance will continue. At the same time, they said that they would sincerely play a positive role in the international environment for the Rohingya refugees to return to Myanmar with safety and dignity.

These indian hindu terror varmets using their eternal anti Muslim agenda asking that Bangladesh should take Rohingyas. Rohingyas are legitimate Myanmar citizens for more than 1000 years. Why Bangladesh or any country should help india and Myanmar uproot Muslims from their homeland?????
Here is the piece of history that indians (some Chinese for that matter) should know about place of Rohingya and Muslims in Myanmar before opening their mouth again.

Who would want to get stabbed in the back with such dimwits running policy in Bangladesh.

Erdogan should've proposed terms and conditions when he gave aid to Bangladesh, some agreement is needed no one would trust this Bangladeshi snake govt.
