I think only US or China can solve this by speeding up development and doing the job properly and more efficiently.

Highly doubt India will be first in anything. It will be either US or China. Both countries can get things done.

India is already running a prototype of thorium reactor ? Are you ?

But thats fine, if you want to have a virtual trophy for imagination.

What i think china and india should join hands in further developments of thorium reactors as both countries are having vast reserves of thorium and both are hungry for energy. This is the one of the field where both can work on together.

China is after india and Japan on reactor tech. We are building a lot of new nuclear plants and catching up fast.
