Certainly not having certain Huawei phones on the shelves at Verizon or AT&T stores isn't going to help with their marketshare.

If we look at South Korea/China we would expect to see a similar situation except local phones would be where Apple is in the US

Agree, but to be fair, it doesn't help that the US banned Huawei phones in their market as well.
Though I agree that even if they didn't ban them, it will still have been hard for Huawei to rank among top 2 or top 3, but at least they would have been among the top 5 or top 7 at least.

Interesting at 15.6% it shows Huawei is barely above Apple (14.6%) in their own home market.

Quite impressive for iPhone to still remain among the top players in China, despite the fact that Apple phones and products are quite expensive compared to their peers.
