China issues report on U.S. human rights

What about unequal treatment of Mexicans.

What about arizona's law on checking papers for no reason.

What about American police brutality.

What about American treatment of Muslim citizens in their own country.

What about Jail conditions.

What about tear gassing and locking up of protestors.

I was thinking the same thing. There are many credible reasons to question US record in human rights. This report omits most of the relevant ones and mentions things like gun violence and unemployment which are not really relevant.

Sounds like something that RT will publish:lol::lol:

plus contrary to popular belief we actually do write up reports criticizing our own human rights abuses...something you will never see a country like China do. It just so happens the State Department Report is only international.

What you do inside is not our concern really. Countries do prepare such reports to improve internal conditions. Not really your novelty.

The point is to politicize human rights (if you call it so) and put you on defense -- the way you have been doing to others.

The most important point is to generate discourse, much as you were privileged to do until very recently.

But don't we put ourselves on defense too? So what is the issue? I guess everybody should keep quiet about all that is not great in this world and hope it will all magically fix itself.

If people didn't speak up you'd still be calling that haze over your cities "fog". You think the Chinese Government started cutting down on air pollution out of their own goodness or was it more to do with bad publicity and a public outcry.

I think nothing is wrong as long as it is two-way street. I think, over time, we are also learning to grow a thick skin and stop counter arguing, and instead, counter-attacking. So, it is becoming a two-way street now.

The rest is for the rest of the world to decide.

China began to care more about environment because it was about the right time. It is a stage of development, following closely the likes of Japan. The only difference has been China scale and size. But, the pattern is almost universal with today's developed world.

When it comes to development goals, China is one of the last countries to be affected by outside agenda-laden advise or hysteria.

The joke here is China's version of 'human rights'.

https://defence.pk/pdf/threads/china-issues-report-on-u-s-human-rights.302266/#post-9278114
The United States had the second highest prisoner rate, with 693 prisoners per 100,000 of the national population, the report says.
Keywords search 'us prison population by offense'.

The return will have violent crimes, drug offenses, and property related. Nothing about religious persecutions or what you can/cannot read. Does China have no laws against illegal drugs ?

The bottom line is that China expands the definition of 'human rights' to absurd proportions in order to put the US in the same low level category as China, Russia, North Korea, and other countries that no one wants to emulate.

Americans crying about human rights violations when their government is responsible for the majority of major wars after the cold war, bombing hospitals, weddings, schools, etc in the middle east. :what: That's some strong drugs our american brothers are snorting.

:D

You know the US never accepts it has human rights. What they have is civil rights. Human rights are deserved for those governments that they wish to topple.

Anyways, after Trump kills Obama care, there will be even more empirical evidence for next year's US Human Rights Report.

China has done a fine job of exposing the US charlatan but something like this needs to be done about the US proxy in South Asia. That is another fake champion of human rights and democracy.

I believe that would be a very thick report. In fact, if China were obsessed with India, the country would be overjoyed to be finally taken seriously. India is doing all it can to grab China's attention. Even negative interest would be considered a sign of taking India seriously.

I think we will let India be. That's the worst we can do to them at the moment.
