Everyone gets cold / flu. Covid-19 is a kind of cold along with the other 4 coronavirus species infecting humans. It's not a big deal. It's not like it's smallpox, polio, measles, ebola.

Come on，If you have evidence to support your point of view you should send it to the US government，they really need this.

If you flip a coin that lands head 1 in a trillion and it does. Well. That tells you something. A virus that infects humans much better than any other animal happening out of the blue on a particular eventful day is astronomically rare.

This sort of iron hand forceful indulgence of a policing state for the purpose of zero covid strategy has it's own blindside. Especially for a patriot like you. This forceful quarantine of citizens with the police state involved for the purpose of a "zero covid" strategy is gonna cause discontentment among your subjects. China enjoyed it's 20 yrs of capitalism, now it is going back to Communist owned businesses and a big cut going to the Country. I just hope that is not a long term change as that will crush everything China has meticulously worked on for it's prosperity. An aggressive border stance and the old school land grabbing is gonna isolate China even more. Yes the market economy which China had for the past few decades has caused the whole world to depend on China for every kind of essential goods. Kudos to the hard working Chinese. The iron rod of the current leader will work on a short term but if he continues on that for too long it will crush the people's spirit. Anyway my 2 cents here...

China should only remove all its border restrictions once there were few infections in other countries and the vast majority of the Chinese population was vaccinated against the coronavirus, the country’s leading respiratory diseases expert said on Sunday.

In an interview with the Southern People Weekly magazine, Dr Zhong Nanshan said 80 to 85 per cent of China’s 1.4 billion people would have to be vaccinated, a milestone that could be reached by the end of the year. However, maintaining the strictest epidemic control measures would be unsustainable, putting great stress on China, he said.

“China cannot carry on like this [with strict control measures] because Covid-19 is a global disease that requires China and the rest of the world to work together and beat it,” he said.

The global death rate of Covid-19 was still at a “very high” 1 to 2 per cent – 10 times that of the flu – which should not be easily dismissed, Zhong said.

“When the death rate becomes very low, having Covid-19 could be part of the norm. That is, when people get sick, the vast majority of them can recover – not like now, where two in a hundred people could die,” he said.

Separately, Gao Fu, head of the Chinese CDC, said that when Covid-19 looked more similar to the flu in terms of death rate and spread, a “long-term battle strategy” – which included living with the virus – would be needed if mass inoculations failed to eliminate the coronavirus.

“China’s zero-Covid policy has won us so much time, for us to procure enough vaccines and administer them. If our vaccination rate goes above 85 per cent in early 2022, then we will have succeeded,” he said in an interview with Wang Boming, editor-in-chief of Caijing magazine.

“First, fewer people will be infected; second, there won’t be serious cases or deaths, only mild cases. The virus is also getting weaker. At that point, I want to ask: with the whole world opened up and the death rate dropped so low, why would we not be opening up?”

Gao said China’s road map had been to increase its vaccination rate, develop new vaccines and eventually create a drug to tackle Covid-19, but eliminating the virus would be a long battle. “Since we are battling this virus in a long fight, I want to ask: are there other solutions rather than living with the virus?”

The fact that these highly regarded experts (including the head of the Chinese CDC, Gao Fu) can talk to the media about "living with Covid" means that even China is also preparing the ground for the public to accept that eventually China has to "live with Covid" as well.

This western medicine or rather the Junta of these so called specialist doctor's theory on eradicating Covid and forcefully bullying to get the vaccine in the name of "right" is just bigotry. Atleast in the democratic world such voices are heard unlike in the Kingdom of China where oppositions are just mysteriously silenced. Chinese Kingdoms has caused many deaths due to the Chinese Sorrow (Hwang Ho) due to the lack of opposition thereof.

The presence of an opposition has saved Indians from deaths due to famines and flood as the voice was heard and free media intervenes and the ruling makes moves towards listening to those voices.
