Working for a Sri Lankan private company, career life of a journalist will be happy and nice if you LOVE JOURNALISAM.

I am Single searching for my future wife, so income not big problem for now.

I hope I can get a job in a Strong company, before I get married.

One suggestion: Learn Chinese and work for a Chinese private news company, you will get a huge amount of salary, believe me.

There are lots of private Chinese news agencies present in Beijing, Hong Kong, and Shanghai. They recruit foreign nationals as local correspondents. So you don't need to leave your residence. But a very good command over Chinese language is the first requirement.

But try to learn from any Confucius centre of Chinese learning. They give certificates... ha ha ha.

I second this notion. Also because you are good with English, you can also act as their foreign correspondent.

China is ACTIVELY SEARCHING for foreign journalists (especially good people like you). You can cover South Asia region, or if you like you can travel (expenses covered).

Chinese has a few too many bad experiences with "foreign journalists" who spew hatred, lies and try to stir up trouble. Just emphasis you are good man and un-bias towards Chinese people.



Also show your past experience. You will be given much autonomy when you gain their trust.



One more thing. You will have a steady career with good pay, and excellent mobility. You will also be able to travel all throughout ASEAN (they will help with your VISA).
