Pakistan has a much superior CM-400AKG anti ship missile that has a speed of mach 5 and has longer range than the brahmos. It is also already deployable on at least 150 of the Pakistani aircraft.

Detection is not the problem. Flying at Mach 3-4 it will be leaving a long trail of IR signature. Shooting it down is the real problem. It may not be a concern for China but in case of Pakistan it will definitely be giving migranes to certain people.
