“No pro-Western posts, no posts critical of Russia. All materials must be reviewed by us [the CCP Propaganda Department] before being published,” the portal said referring to the order, noting that all media can only publish information that has already been published by Xinhua, People's Daily or CCTV.

In addition, according to the China Digital Times, news outlets and social media accounts must only post approved comments from now on.

This kind of breaking news fell on some russian and english news sites. I hope it's not true.

TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Horizon News, part of CCP-owned Beijing News, accidentally leaked its internal directives for reporting on Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in a Weibo post on Tuesday (Feb. 22), revealing it would only publish pro-Kremlin content.

The post wrote that any content unfavorable to Russia or pro-Western must be censored, per a Business Insider article. The directive also gave instructions on narrowing the scope of debate on the website — all user comments are to be carefully screened and posted gradually.

An editor at Xinhua News Agency later posted on Weibo that China needs to emotionally and morally support Russia now since “China will also need Russia's understanding and support when wrestling with America to “solve the Taiwan issue once and for all.”

Earlier this month, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese leader Xi Jinping (習近平) claimed their countries shared a supposed “limitless partnership” with "no ‘forbidden’ areas of cooperation.” In the same joint statement with Xi, Putin affirmed Russia’s opposition against the concept of political independence for Taiwan.

It may not have caught anyone's attention, given that it is in Mandarin anyway. They do have the advantage of scrubbing it off. But this time, it came out in the open.

.
The mandarin in the weibo post read like an internal company memo of a newspaper, from the chief editor to all his/her colleague, concerning editorial instruction on current affair. Apparently it was accidentally post to weibo instead of the internal company network.

It is not censorship, once again west english media make mountain out of molehill.

BTW, "Beijing News" is well known in China as a pro-liberal newspaper, and is dislike by most self-identified nationalist.

...according to the usual lying U.S. regime run propaganda mouthpieces :rolleyes1:

This fakenews was as usual and expected uncritically smeared all over "independent" U.S. regime approved media in the usual coordinated fasion like all American smear campaigns you gobble up. From the U.S. regime owned Radio Free Asia and all its other fake names, over Americas right wing tabloids and fakenews outlets like Newsweek, Washington Post and FP to Indian newspapers like Business Insider and India today. These stenographers wouldnt just suddenly miss their orders from above when they could metously parrot U.S. regime propaganda lies about China for for decades.

Which in this case was the U.S. regime progaganda mouthpiece China Digital Times who simultaneously fabricated and confirmed the fake story as genuine, which is funded directly by the U.S. regime and was created by Counter Power Lab which is funded directly by the U.S. regime and was created out of Radio Free Asia which is owned by the U.S. Agency For Media and is just another propaganda program of U.S. Agency For Media which is a literal U.S. regime owned and run and funded propaganda and disinformation agency just making up this shit for a living. The the first and only source claiming to have seen the alleged Weibo post before it was alledgedly deleted and before the U.S. regime kickstarted another campagin to spread the claims just happens to be a U.S. regime propaganda agency predenting to be a independent journalistics media outlet.

U.S. regime run propaganda agency (RFA) defacto quoting itself (CDT) and citing itself (CDT employee) as a confirmation that their lies published via CDT are "genuine"

The story was already posted here a day before with the original source mentioned and immediately got called out because everyone knows China Digital Times is a just a notoriously lying U.S. regime run propaganda mouthpiece that isnt worth be taken serious due to their notoric lies and open biggotry.

So our American shills, who already know its fake either way, just launder their U.S. regime propaganda with the usual obscure fake "Chinese" anti-China Twitter disinfo bots and "Taiwanese" newspapers, whos primary or secondary business is to recycle U.S. regime propaganda lies for drooling American retards, into gaslighting material for secondary use by shills operating in non-aligned platforms and communities like PDF, because nobody would even bother to give a **** if they used the primary U.S. regime owned, run and funded source who created this fake report out of practically nothing again. They are getting desperate because nobody gives a shit about U.S. propaganda mouthpieces anymore and people learned to treat disingenious and dishonest American media with suspiscion and as the chronic liars they are.

Its just the usual suspects echoing blatant lies from the usual suspects.
