If the US media says China is "considering" closing the Wuhan consulate, it means China has already announced it.

Now the question is whether the Hong Kong consulate will remain open or will it be closed too.

I suspect within a few weeks, China will be shut off from SWIFT and then the digital RMB called DCEP will be made available worldwide.
