If you want to see a shipborne mid-course interceptor, then you need to build a nuclear cruiser of around 30,000 tons, since the current Aegis DDGs aren't big enough to handle this. :coffee:

Indeed it needs a bigger ship to withstand and stabilize the sea based platform from the immense reactionary force generated by the launch of the powerful ABM

our CNMD (操你妈的) will be powerful than US NMD(你妈的) and TMD(他妈的)

 the classified ones must be DNLM and CNNND.

CNMD means C NMD, "FCUK" NMD, HEHE...

did people knew about this test and it's timings i.e wil take place at night? As the colorful shapes in sky might have deceived some ignorant people in thinking there is some UFO activity going on up there

the lesser people who knew about it the better when it took place
the test was to serve China not other nations nor ignorant people

We are not bollywood!

Rayleigh scattering of remaining liquid propellant, nothing special.

Over these 2 days. US has tested its land base interceptor; japan launched its spy satellite; we tested our land based interceptor and india has test-launched its 1.5k km-range ballistic missile from sea ( the missiles are to be deployed on the russian submarine)!

In terms of technical complexities and difficulties:

1. China
2. USA
3. Japan

Wonder how many UFO sightings in the past were just missile test in outer space.

Also, if the interception of a NUKE in exoatmosphere , then something disastrous will surely happen to the orbiting satellites , space stations and other flying objects.

Not sure if it helps that Chinese Beidou satellites occupy a higher orbit constellation than the original GPS satellites, though not sure about the new ones.

They should have took those factors into consideration when designing the system. As for commercial sats -Meh it's not the most important thing to worry about when there's a goddamn nuke war going on.

The video was taken in Canada, and not in 2013, so nothing to see with the chinese test several days ago...

Among the many eyewitnesses, there is a soap-opera camera crew.

Based on those pics and videos from web, we can see the interceptor missile zoomed ,and then seprated form its first stage,(a small wake go up fast, then led a white small cloud of smoke), and then its light-intensity bumped up,interceptor hit the target missile, then the target rotated, and spiled liquid fuel (blue vortex).
