The idea of AI swarm drone became a hot topic due to the recent conflict between Amernia and Azerbaijan, thus I believed this video from CETC is something noteworthy and deserved a separate thread.

The ground launch platform Mengshi are largely equipped in PLA quick reaction force, hoping to see the swarm drone intergrated with the ground force.

This will change the war fundamentally. The cost will be more or less a cell phone, several camera, chip, censors, AI, communication parts. A flying cell phone.

According to Indians, Chinese drones are gimmicks. I love to see their reaction when they see hundreds of loitering "gimmicks" in the sky, each packed with 2kg of explosive-fragmentation warhead.

Remarkable! Great work China. It is surely inevitable that Pakistan will invest in, purchase into and indigenously enter this field of warfare soon.

I envisage an entirely new branch of the military dedicated to this. It is not the same functionality in terms of command and control as an "air force".

In fact, come to think of it, it should simply be the PDF!

Pakistan Drone Force.

China doesn't fight with India's primitive "doctrine" where 1% difference in specs are compared for platforms as if they're going to be 1v1ing. China is inventing an entirely new doctrine of warfare as we speak. The end result will shock the world.

India doesn't really have an independent doctrine. You can only have a real doctrine if you build your own equipment. There are literally only 2 reasons why you buy instead of build: you need it right away and can't afford R&D time or you just can't do it. I've both built my own equipment and bought equipment for my company before. The difference in understanding, in capability, is night and day.

India can't do it. How can they adapt against a new doctrine if they have to wait for someone else to think of it first, build it, then sell it to them?

China is inventing?! This video is from 2016, the US has already used autonomous SWARM attacks in combat.

Type 15 tanks aren't meant to directly fight T-90, but act as mobile fire platform to support infantry advance and break through defensive lines. For anti-armor, China has an arsenal of anti-tank missiles, armed drones, precision guided artillery and air to surface missiles.
