China and Russia have a lot of space for cooperation and development, both in the economy and in the military.

. . . .
It’s like 1950 all over again. Russia rolls tanks into Eastern Europe and gets chummy with China.

.
Your largest trade partner is on our shores, maybe you like to see your future here to?
Who cares? I'm just saying how Important west is to Russia or rather Russia is in the west (figuratively).

It’s like 1950 all over again.

It's different, the Soviet Union and China had territorial disputes, leading to us becoming enemies with each other.

That's not the case with China and Russia, we officially solved those territorial disputes a while back.

In the current world scenario it would be interesting to see China and Russia sign a full mutual defence treaty. Neither side really needs it (both can defend themselves from any invasion) but that's exactly why it would be a genuine sign of goodwill.

I hope Pakistan can join in this Chinese-Russian alliance. But alas, Russia has good relations with India.

That is what is stopping that alliance from working.

Once Pakistan gets rid of the pro-US politicians in their government, they can decide to sign a mutual defence treaty with only China and not Russia. That would solve the India problem.

So what was the point of your post then. Obviously you now feel being the largest trade partner doesn't matter.

So you are saying Western Europe is important to Russia, name a place where Western Europe is unimportant.

So I don't get it, what is your point? That Western Europe is important to Russia, but being the number one trade partner, it is irrelevant?

Most Pakistanis would love to forget about USA and move on in life.

A senior State Department official has gone on record to state that the United States was not thinking of cutting ties with Pakistan.

In an interview with Voice of America (VOA), Acting State Department South and Central Asia Assistant Secretary Alice Wells said the US considered Pakistan essential to cracking the Afghan imbroglio.

Pakistan, India need to sit and talk on border tensions: US State dept spokesperson

Wells, also the acting special representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan, said it should not be assumed that the US was considering cutting ties with Islamabad with regard to recent developments. “On the contrary, we are backing Pakistan against all militant groups.”

When asked about a new strategy if ties frayed further, the US diplomat maintained that ‘Pakistan was pivotal to stability in Afghanistan’.

Shedding light on the United States’ South Asia strategy, she said it was premised on working with Pakistan to ensure the latter’s interests were secured through talks.

The point is what the person said that Russia though their future lies with the west.
Russia spends way too long a time thinking their future lies in Western Europe.
And it does. What's your problem? :what: Am I wrong to say that it does?
So I don't get it, what is your point? That Western Europe is important to Russia, but being the number one trade partner, it is irrelevant?
huh! I said, western European countries are more important to Russia than anyone else. A lot of Russians live and work in those countries. Also being their largest trade partners.

So why doesn't it matter when I said China is India's biggest trade partner?
