The reality is that both China and Australia will be fine without trading with each other. Australia will be a little poorer but they will be fine. China will have to source materials from other places, some may be worse quality or more expensive, but they will be fine. The key is why would China continue to keep feeding a country that hates it? I mean, Australia has been screaming for years about how they hate China when China has literally done nothing to it but made them richer. A Chinese creator creates one cartoon about their actual war crime and they chimp out like a bunch of maniacs, demonstrating their complete hypocrisy and supremacist mentality. China and Australia should just decouple, period.

China has to prepare for a closed economy, been saying this for years on PDF. Though you don't want to do this. China would grow at 3-4% at closed consumer economy where China makes everything for 1.4 billion people. Vs 5-6% GDP growth with a trade economy. Trade = more money to China. I want China rich.

I disagree. Australia is a colonial settler nation and has no place in that side of the world. Not only that, but Australians have shown that they have incessant and immense hatred of the Chinese race and of Asians in general. They always had historically but historically Asians had no power, so they could never call them out on their bullshit. Times have changed.

I don't care so much about China insulting Australia publicly, I care more about China just permanently decoupling from Australia so as not to continue feeding a race that hates you.

Australia is an illegitimate colonial settler nation and White Australians need to go back to Europe. PERIOD.

I have relatives in Australia, so have met Australians, some are racist bigots others are not.

Even more have racial hatred of Lebanese, I look Lebanese, Central/Southern Italians look Lebanese. So I would not be liked in Australia by the racist nazis there.

Don't think for a moment that these racist barbarians don't hate white Caucasians. Lebanese are far more Caucasian than the fake "whites" of Europe. Phase One is super easy to agree to. Phase One trade deal is basically buying more US raw materials and semiconductor equipment that was going to be bought anyways. US is the one trying to STOP semiconductor equipment from being sold to China, ironic. BTW, Boeing 737 MAX is still banned.

Meanwhile this is the reality on the ground independent of the policy mumbo jumbo.
