I'd assume Pompeo & Trump ordered Aussies to have harder stance against China while promising trade deals with them instead but as we know about conman Trump and his promises.... Australia has been thrown under the bus by US (same goes to Canada).

Has anyone one followed Sky News Australias youtube channel? They were sure about year ago that China will collapse by end of 2020 or there will be succesfull war over Hong Kong what makes masters of Asia with US backing.

I disagree. Australia is a colonial settler nation and has no place in that side of the world. Not only that, but Australians have shown that they have incessant and immense hatred of the Chinese race and of Asians in general. They always had historically but historically Asians had no power, so they could never call them out on their bullshit. Times have changed.

I don't care so much about China insulting Australia publicly, I care more about China just permanently decoupling from Australia so as not to continue feeding a race that hates you.

I got my Aussie trade statistics from IHS Markit, I should have asked your cousin instead - my bad!

The point you people miss is a simple one, Australia was doing fine before China became its largest trade partner.
Sure if China embargoes all imports from Australia, it will have a massive short term negative impact on Australia - but they will recover in six months.

So far, China has imposed tariffs on wheat and wine but increased imports of Iron ore and other minerals- the overall trade volume has increased and not decreased despite the vitriol from Beijing. China has significant investments in Australia so it can huff and puff all it wants its never going to blow the house down.

The reality is that both China and Australia will be fine without trading with each other. Australia will be a little poorer but they will be fine. China will have to source materials from other places, some may be worse quality or more expensive, but they will be fine. The key is why would China continue to keep feeding a country that hates it? I mean, Australia has been screaming for years about how they hate China when China has literally done nothing to it but made them richer. A Chinese creator creates one cartoon about their actual war crime and they chimp out like a bunch of maniacs, demonstrating their complete hypocrisy and supremacist mentality. China and Australia should just decouple, period.
