veto power is given to very powerful nations with global influence.
what power does india have?
india dont even have regional influence.
people are grossly exaggerating india's capabilities, its still a very very poverty stricken nation that depends heavily on foreigners to provide food and aid.
india wants veto power just because they have a big population, well u dont get power based on how many humans u breed.
india is a third world nation still, for all their growth, they barely have any industry.
just because of the big populations of china and india, indians like to think they are some kind of competitor to china, but in reality, china is so far ahead of india in so many things, its a non-comparison.
the comparisons between china and india is only in population size, in everything else china is ahead, well ahead, and in many areas in a different league to india.
india's competitor is pakistan, those 2 countries are similar in technolgy advancement, level of social development, infrastructure, industry, military capability, etc.
china is competing with the big boys like US, Russia, France, Germany, Japan in industries, technolgy, military, economy, global influence, etc.
india might join that list one day, but that is many many decades into the future.
