China acknowledges 'cancer villages'

Plan B Updates - 96: Cancer Now Leading Cause of Death in China | EPI

This is a real problem and India's situation is no good either. In India, problem looks more grave when I see hundreds of illegal auto-rickshaws running on the streets polluting entire zone. Zero public awareness and a lame pollution board have helped this illegal auto-business to grow.

PS: One of India's biggest emblem, the great TajMahal is getting dull day by day. Even the curator admits that it's marble does not shine anymore as it used to even 10 years ago. All hail to pollution:bad:

the best achievement we got during the past decade is the popularization of electric bike. it is hard to imagine if 1 billion motorbikes are running on roads.
now the sales volume of our motorbike is less than cars.

they need to do something or they will be main sufferers.
No they won't. Do you think government officials who get paid by those industries to tolerate all that pollution live nearby?? No way in hell. The only ones suffering are the ones living those plants... as always, the average guy gets screwed and dies because of government corruption...
