Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), ACM Rao Qamar Suleman

It is not the Man, but the appointment he holds. Tomorrow it may be Air Chief Marshal Fazal Ilahi Khan Jatoi (who cares) and Sir Rao would be smoothly replaced by him in this thread. So, dont sweat unnecessarily!

Surely he (Rao Qamar) did not deserve the post of CAS... others like Khalid Ch. and Shahid Latif were more strong characters

I do not know the reason of this topic

Shahid Lateef wouldve been an ideal chief, he's very ambitious(very good in studies and flying, also holding a sprint record) and extremely rude with juniors(like all senior fighter pilots are to rookies), but the power of politics also plays in PAF. There are many people who do not get credit for the hard work they put in this professional air force, and there are douchebags that get every ounce of fame for doing nothing.
