Metro construction has helped keep on side of the road water free, while the other side is more than 1 feet deep in water.

Not only there that was the condition in several parts of the city...... on 2nd we sent a TT to pick up our franchisee from TTK road to Meenampakkam, While going it was ok and though water levels were high, but it was manageable...on the way back the blocked the road.... Reason, in Nandanam the broke on wall on one as the water was at more than 5 feet height....and then the water started flowing across the road, and they closed the road..... Some how the driver took another route and reached......It was scary though

Highest amount of rain fall in a century....... Poor drainage system.... Poor planning of city..... Corruption...... all Put together resulted in this........ The air port was flooded as a river near by was over flowing (Read somewhere that there is a river going under the runway, which i am not very sure).....
