Areas under Pulakeshinagar assembly constituency in Bengaluru resembled a war zone on Wednesday, hours after after an unruly mob went on a rampage torching vehicles, irked over a 'communally sensitive' social media post allegedly put up by a relative of a Congress MLA.

Charred vehicles, shards of glass from broken windows, stones and bricks lie strewn over the deserted roads of the violence-affected localities.

Earlier, three people were killed in police firing and scores of others wounded, including at least 50 policemen in the violence and arson that erupted in the city on Tuesday night and continued till the wee hours of Wednesday.

Property of Congress legislator Akhanda Srinivasa Murthy and his family members were targeted after a 'communally sensitive' social media post uploaded online by one of his relatives enraged a section of people.

"We were not at home when all this happened," Jayanthi, the MLA's sister said weeping inconsolably.

"The only solace is that my brother and his family are safe," she said.

The violent crowd set on fire police vehicles and barged into DJ Halli police station on the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday and damaged the property.

Police have arrested about 110 people on charges of rioting.

This is more of a show of strength to prove that they haven't surrendered to the Hindu Rashtra, and that they will take even the most powerful state machinery i.e. police head-on.

Apna apna point of view h... aukat me aa gaye h... after yogi model is applied by Karnataka Government... ab mafi mang rahe h... media is not interested as Modi or BJP are no where near to put blame on them...

hindus like picking fights with there fellow Indian Muslims of having a Islamic rule India

but when it comes to the white british rule in india, hindus & Sikhs cherish that. no complaints here then.

historically, english treated all Indians like cattle. at least muslim rulers stayed on unlike english who took wealth shipped home. English in uk hate Asians but Indians enjoy licking there balls is there a scientific reasons for this inferiority behaviour?

.
There are some redlines which Hindus shouldn't cross even in India for the sake of their country. A Muslim, whether he is oppressed, doesn't give a damn when it comes to the respect of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

And why did they burned Mumbai while opposing Exodus of Rohingyas... and all of them are now hiding... including this Dara hua Musalman...

They don't like the fact that vast swathes of us rejected their religion and culture and converted to Islam. What's more, we carved out two Muslim majority nations from what they consider their territory and we're still a sizable minority in their country.
No wonder they don't like the Mughals.

But Muslims also should not cross their limits... I think in this case, your brother in faith crossed the line first.. What is your advise to your bethern sir??

.
Hindu strategy is the same which it was 100 years ago. Arya samaj mentality is being practised. First provoke and humiliate then portray them as miscreants.

Muslim countries should do the same. In Uae, indonesia, hindus' should be dehumanized and when they complain portray them as miscreants.
