Sorry got to disagree with you there. It (Aghan war) has made Pakistan a lot more powerful and organised: we acquired latest weapons, were forced into manufacturing of arms which created a need for educated workforce, had a great relationship with USA and the West, sidelined India for a few decades and created new alliances. Our failure to follow through on our gains was the setback as some petty people squabbled and fought over the funds pilfering and looting instead.
