CEO pushes for boycott of Chinese products

R u idiot ?? 600 millions Cnese earning less than 140 usd per month is what CN PM Li said.

Show u failed to show that 20 cent is VN workers salary bcs it's fake. If I still spamming again, I will report Mod :pop:
R u idiot? Our PM Li said the per capita disposable income of the bottom half, which means our top half are all your rich daddies... Our bottom half (with an average household of 4) are also 100X richer than your 20 cents slaves, said by your white masters, Haha..
Now, if you B.S. again, I will report Mod :pop:
That's cost of living, not salary
You are not only retard, but also blind...
It says the average monthly salary.
While 500 usd is considered super super high income,...

PPP? What kind of purchasing power do you have? 50 cc bikes for your millionares??? :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha:
Talking about 'innovation' by a vietnamese? When our college students are doing quantum computing, controlled nuclear fusion, etc. etc. all sorts of frontier work, what your college students are doing in your junkyard top 1 university? with a campus smaller than a kindergarten...:rofl::rofl:
That university is old. Similar to the 1,000 year old Van Mieu university. There are newer built universities.

That is not what our PM Li said... lol...
You cite the B.S. title is not more valid than what your white daddy said:
these-factory-workers-are-making-nikes-for-20-cents-an-hour-so-nike-can-profit-to-pay-colin-kaepernick-millions-to-speak-against-oppression-and-injustice.jpg

@waz @LeGenD he can't stop violating the rules when constantly posting 2005 fake new even when you just deleted his post in another thread.

Pls take stronger action

Snopes asked Fournier for the source of his claims but did not get a response. But they traced the pay rate of 20 cents an hour to reports from the mid-1990s. In 1996, TV broadcaster CBS investigated working conditions in Nike factories in Vietnam. CBS interviewed a worker who worked six days a week and earned US$42 a month – the equivalent of about 20 cents an hour.

100x?
You are bad in math.
US/VN trades will hit close $100 billion this year.
By 20 percent growth it’s just few years away.
No! No! How can I be wrong in my maths.
FYI I am using a 100% designed and made in Vietnam calculator. They are using low costing Khmer Krom labour.
They assured me they are 1000% correct. How dare you insult your superior quality Vietnamese product?
:sarcastic: :sarcastic: :sarcastic:

.
But it is what your white daddy said in 2019, :omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha:
I can post whatever your white daddy said as you keep posting the fake news by your white daddy...
Keep crying, 20 cents slave boy...
BTW, 20 cents should be divided by your average household of 4, which makes it 5 cents
Nonsense post on Twitter/Facebook is not allowed to spam here. Not mentioning u just post news said that VN average salary in 2020 is 148 usd per month, not 42 usd (20 cent per hour)

@MOD pls take action, he is not allowed to keep posting fake news in every threads

Kennard’s Self Storage CEO Sam Kennard is pushing for a boycott of Chinese products following the trade sanctions imposed as a response to Australia's call for an inquiry into China's handling of COVID-19.

Mr Kennard told Sky News he does not wish to engage in trade with a country which seeks to harm Australia. "So I thought, why don't we explore other suppliers, other countries that we can get products from," he said.

"We're just going to say, what do padlocks from Taiwan look like, or Vietnam, or you know, Singapore or Malaysia...what are the options there, because we've never really examined that."

On Tuesday he put out a call on social media for other Australian businesses to follow his company's lead. "On Twitter and LinkedIn the flood of support has been incredible," he said

Makes sense to buy from Vietnam. We offer everything from cars, smartphones to shoes.

Not sure how the Chinese economy is going to survive, if the guy with few storage unites stop buying few 100 padlocks every year! I see complete Chinese Bankruptcy:crazy::crazy::crazy:

if it's so easy then why is the average wage in Vietnam still $170 per month? To reach China's current level you'd need to grow at 10% per year for 18 years while China stands still and hope your currency doesn't devalue.

you can dream about finally becoming competent in 19th century tech like gas cars and simple commodity steels. Chinese only care about the future tech like software, robotics, high tech metallurgy, aerospace, electric cars, pharmaceuticals, semiconductor, displays, finance, etc. All our tech companies were started over 20 years ago and are now global giants yet still growing fast.

don't worry tho, Chinese have your back. We keep investing in Vietnam and giving you the lower margin factory work, no big deal. We help you get to lower middle income once we are fully developed.
The average wage in Vietnam is close to 500 Usd/month, not 170. Even a house keeper makes 300 Usd a month easily back in 2015. You claim to have "global" companies but i see nothing outside of china, not even in Vietnam. I do not see any of your products like aircraft, medicine, cars, Robotics, microchip, display that you claim to be "Global", none of it in Vietnam, let alone in the U.S. We just bought a 100 million dollar Schuler press machine from Germany, Where is yours?.. we bought over 3000 robots for our car factory from Germany and Switzerland, where are your "global" robots? We bought over 100 Boeing jets in the past few years, where is your international jets you claim to have?if you can't sell your supposed to be "high tech" products to Vietnam, where can you sell them? Heck, your scooters and cars can't be sold in Vietnam either.
With 95 million population and natural resources, we can easily reach the middle income status by expanding our GDP with industries like automotive, electronics, steel, aluminum, high tech agriculture, tourism, FDI attraction. That's the plus side of having a smaller population, we don't have to do every field every industries to produce income for everyone. You can keep your low end job, with 1.4 billion you wont find enough jobs for everyone and you won't find enough consumers for your international market

Cnese bankruptcy not only just bcs "some guys" stop buying padlocks , 5G, AI cameras etc( trade war), but also bcs of middle income trap ( high labor costs, high tariff making factories quit CN,move to other countries) and poor management ( building so many ghost towns, invest too much in useless projects etc making CN banking systems suffering mega debts ).

NOT mentioning 600 million Cnese earning less than 140 usd per month is also a big burden to CN taxes when CN Govt has to use lots of money to supply them food, housing, medical treatment etc to keep them alive.

Average wages Vietnam: $125 - $148

Maybe open your eyes. Not everyone is a Vietnamese American expat like you. Most Vietnamese are eeking out a bleak existence as sustinence farmers or sweatshop laborers. Vietnamese don't even get enough calories to eat. It is considered "moderately hungry" and ranked at 61/107 countries.

Now with that out of the way, let's debunk your assertions.

Displays: TCL #5, Hisense #6 in the US. Now looking outside the US, Hisense is #4 worldwide, TCL is #5 worldwide, and Skyworth is #6 worldwide. BOE is the #1 global display panel and chip manufacturer.

Computers: Lenovo is #1 worldwide.

Phones: Huawei is #2 worldwide, Xiaomi #4, Oppo #5.

I never claimed China had jets, I claimed aerospace. And this is what Chinese aerospace can do.

Patents: Vietnam has 1/2000 the patents as China. China is one of the most innovative countries in the world with as many patents per capita as Canada and Switzerland, Vietnam is one of the least innovative with lower total patents than Thailand which has 1/2 the population.

Let's get real here.
