We don't know what Anti-National slogans were raised but the authorities are claiming that they were raised. I am sure they must have said something that riled up the local students. Due to the sensitive nature of the matter it is good that the university has disclosed it yet, only for the the safety of the Kashmiri students.
Well, the student's testimony states all they did was clap and cheer for Pakistani team! Now even the headings of each newspaper says this was all about a match...dont you think it would be about the "anti National" slogans were it the case?

well if u can wait 1000 years for ur freedom .. we can wait at least a century :)

This balderdash of 1000 years has been discredited far too often on this forum and the only some idiots believe in it now. now stick to the topic and quit flaming this thread. Drop your Paksitan history text book and pick up a real history book.

@Oscar @Jungibaaz . This dude is trying to flame here and going off-topic.

didn't recal that give me a sorce so i can read up and refresh my knowleage .. what matter is they dont want to be with u ... so does it matter what Pakistan did or didnt .. we support muslims everywhere .. be it palestine, busnia, afghanistan and kashmir .. pakistanis has always physically and morally supported the freedom struggle ..

You can refer to UN Resolutions for it. I second the Bold Part. :disagree:

Anyway, you can continue your Physical, moral or Financial support to Kashmiri, it won't change anything. The only practical solution for Kashmir is making LOC, International Boarder. :)

They are not dismissed ... just taken off campus till the the emotions die down.
Like I said twice already my concern is not solely about them being off the campus but with the immature and biased attitude of the uni admin!
And followed by the attitude of the members here supporting the beating up!

I am totally against the a soldier killing a kashmiri over this ... if true all culprits must be handed with the severest punishment possible. I understand you sentiments for Kashmiris but we being a peusdo secular country don't believe in that. ( I know it's a distasteful joke but sadly thats how the ground realities are now.)

the uni acted in a mature way ... they would have been lynched there.. that particular area saw religious riots 6 months ago. we didn't wanted another episode.

Take it easy bro ... no need to invite the big guns when we can hold them with facts.

You people need to grow up and start acting matured instead of siding every damn biasedness injustice thrown at you!

1. They appreciated the suspension, use your brain, they said they appreciate the decision of sending them home.

2. Why are u sharing the HT link it doesn't prove the thrashing.

3. Yeah right except in India rest of college in World are so disciplined and sincere especially the guys of Pakistani colleges. Go and google the hooliganism and ragging in colleges of REST OF THE WORLD.

4. Those are college students for god sakes these team favoring and clashes on it happens in colleges. And upon all this was INDIA VS PAKISTAN match whole world knows how much rivalry it creates. Go and see the thread of the match.

5. Read point number 4. There's nothing like lack of freedom in India you are generalizing a silly college incident for WHOLE INDIA. Had it been that lack of freedom, why they would've allowed them to study in college instead they would've kept as captive and wouldn't have given right to preach their religion, wouldn't allowed to vote. That is lack of freedom. Again
use your brain instead of infuriating it.

6. lol you are taking the comment of posters here seriously, then what about that blabber and idiotic comments that Pakistani users make here? :cuckoo:

And last but not the least the city magistrate have asked for a probe into it. Here if had it been lack of freedom, the authority would've beaten and jailed them instead of sending them with security and putting an inquiry. Now please don't quote me again, I don't want to ruin my sleep just to clear the trash you've pilled up in your brain. As of those kashmiri students, everything will get back to normal in a week. Bye!

And rather than acting as an humanitarian activist here and pointing out mistakes of other countries go and save those miminorities in your country who've been Kept as slaves and
HAVEN'T GIVEN A BASIC FREEDOM OF PREACHING THEIR RELIGION, If you really care that much to provide freedom to a human being.

They appreciated that the kids were given safe passage home and not buried in India!

As for the fake thrashing:

67 Kashmiri students sent to their homes for celebrating Pak win - Hindustan Times

Nope I have not lived with barbarians during my collage times...Nor with those who oppose differences in thinking or curb freedom of choosing my own team!

I am not hyping it...All I want is for Indians memebrs to realize they made a mistake...1st lack of tolerance for Kashmiris to choose their own team and not wanting to be forced to go with the locals Secondly, Indians have no freedom because that is exactly what happened...thirdly, it was absurd for Internet kids to claim they would have done the same!

If going to collage meant they will still behave like some gangster then its best their parents keep them in the homes...

I am not so much worried about them being sent home as I am about the behaviour of the hosts!

I highlighted the same comment in a post from hindustantimes!

Naah, University should have let these kids stay within the campus. . resulting in bigger fights and giving these India Bashers more reasons to feel good :pleasantry:

stop wasting your time on ppl who are not interested in your POV. :sarcastic:

Mam the place where this incident happened is prob one of the most dangerous in India in terms of law and order. The university has sent them back for their own safety, they were escorted to Delhi and Ghaziabad railway stations under full security.

These guys were idiots. I'm glad they were left without more damage. Cricket here is nothing less than an actual war: what would have happened if someone in Pakistan cheered for India had they beaten us? Can we stop extending this to PDF?
