I already knew the meat is shared, it still is a sacrifice even symbolically by celebrating a sacrifice. Being Abrahamic doesn't make you less pagan, it just means you believe in a monotheistic supreme creator that has a different name than in other religions and you worship It directly instead of indirectly.
Of course its a sacrifice...theres nothing wrong with that so far as I'm concerned !
And if engaging in something that pagans used to do also makes something as pagan or otherwise than even something as simple as farming is a pagan construct !
