What an easy trick. The trick is performed with two entirely different set of cards. The first set with which you are supposed to pick any card comprises of ( K of hearts, J of clubs, K of spades, Q of diamonds, Q of clubs and J of diamonds). Once you pick your card and memorize it, Ian Velicaria isn't showing you the card that you picked and memorized, he is providing a set of cards and telling you that the card you memorized earlier on isn't within the set of cards. He is fooling his audience by providing a new set of cards comprizing of (Q of hearts, K of clubs, J of hearts, Q of spades and K of diamonds). Please notice that none of the cards in the new set can be found in the earlier set and that can only mean one thing, regardless of whichever card you picked from the first set, it wont be in the second set. The key thing is to realize the two different set of cards.
