Yep that is exactly what has happened. Some people got so mad that they managed to shut down the restaurant. I'm sure the owner doesn't have to worry about putting food on the table, but the employees without jobs have to.

But again those wanna be aunties are real culprits.
The purpose is to lodge a protest and punish them ,so keeping that in mind I think only a temporary closure is justified.

This is Pakistan, politics and revenge are involved in everything.

Just their ego. Both the owners think their apology is worth more than the jobs of people working there. If they would've apologized than they wouldn't had to close the restaurant but they didn't. What they did was wrong and should issue an actual apology. People are quick to forgive and forget.
