Lets not let the issue of colour divide us. Honestly speaking, colour of a person matters little to anyone (except for the racialists). End of the day we are all just human beings.

America can keep the role as the world police and Canadians should have nothing to fear about.

On the side note, it is refreshing to be feared. I am happy that the west view us this way. Power is back to the east and how it should be hundreds of years ago. Lets pray for a more peaceful and prospherous Asia.

It is not about white or black. It is more about the relationship with the major economies of the world. The US has been the largest economy for so long and shielded Canada from any economic or geographic threat that Canadians slept on it. Now they woke up to see their 'easy' lifestyle is under threat and the Asian economies rose so fast that they didn't get time to forge any substantial relationship with the Asians, hence this nervousness.

Canada is a great place, but lets face it, they accept us immigrants not from the goodness of their hearts, but to make money. My Grandfather invested 300 000 dollars so he could come here. It's a business relationship so we can bash it as much as we want.

Aryan is either a social appellation ('honourable', 'respected', 'well-born' or equivalent) or a linguistic category (Indo-Aryan language). And forget Abii's spouting; there is no point in setting him right, he might not have had enough time on DefPak to read any of the threads on the subject.
