Can this be true? US had supplied F-16s to Pakistan under a condition

The weak reference is because of a video which speaks of individual POV not facts-
Cannot be considered as evidence until it has actually shown the tracking devices-
Which it did not-
Take that foot up your A55- thank you-

Its an article:

"Spy, Military Ties Aided bin Laden Raid".

Go and read it.

F-16 was a very old deal which has finally concluded now...
Don't think Pakistan is asking for any more American equipment...
Pakistan is not only asking for new US equipment, but doesn't seem to mind scrounging for the old discarded stuff of the Americans. Here....Pakistan eyes leftover US military equipment in Afghanistan

The bottom line is that Pakistan just cannot do without the Yankee gizmos, because even their old junk is leagues ahead of the Chinese stuff! :cheesy:

and you cant do without trolling
Really? Did I say anything wrong? I didn't invent this. It's taken straight from YOUR news paper, PAKISTAN TODAY in your Monday, 11 Feb 2013 edition!

So either your own news paper is trolling or you are! The latter is more probable! :P

If Pakistan scrambled F-16s to investigate, the U.S. knew how long it would take the planes to reach the area, officials said. The U.S. supplies F-16s to Pakistan on the condition they are kept at a Pakistani military base with 24/7 U.S. security surveillance, according to diplomatic cables obtained by WikiLeaks and reviewed by The Wall Street Journal.

Put it another way..All the War gear left behing in Afghanistan will be taken over by Local warlords,Taliban and other miscreants and will be used for disruption of peace...As it happened after USSR withdrawl...
So Pakistan's is actually not asking but helping in saving the war gear from fromm falling into the wrong hands....

Eventually, it was agreed that Pakistan would pay $80 million to perform the updates in Turkey. The U.S. also expressed concerns about basing the F-16s in Pakistan due to “concerns about potential technology transfer to China.” The outcome? Pakistan was made to fork out another $125 million to “build and secure a separate F-16 base” (197576: confidential).

Isn't Pakistan hoping to get some leftover equipment from the ISAF withdrawal from Afghanistan?

This is pathetic. Atleast respect your country, you are saying that pakistan will scavenge over leftovers of American equipments..How self-detrimental is this!!. Even requesting from China is a better deal than what you said.

Please do not misinterpret what I said to suit your nefarious intent.

I am not saying, but I am asking for a clarification (see the question mark at the end?), in response to this comment:

Further, there is nothing wrong in trying to maximize the return for one's money. Pakistan would do well to get the best deal for its meager resources than not.
