You cant even distinguish between a "crash down" from a "touch down". the article from your quote is highly likely written by another fact defying self bragging indian who faulted on 2 obvious counts:

1. a "crash down" is distorted as a "touch down". The latter is "soft landing" a more difficult technology
2. the ESA repesents the efforts of European countries. You indian trolls were not in the league at that time when EAS' SMART 1 performed an "intent-crash" some 2 years ahead of you bragging people!
