u guys with full force cant do this even now,so dont try to over estimate ur self.

Back in 1962, China was no stronger than India, yet we had more courage to beat you guys.

Almost 50 years after, the outcome can only be worse for India. Imagine the GDP is almost 5 times the difference, China is far more industrialized and far more in military muscles.

.
That is very tricky.

Real friendship is based on trust, which is why I don't believe China and India will ever be friends.

Friendship starts with COMMON INTEREST and flourishes with TRUST....

India and China can be allies/rivals NOT friends/enemies

What do you think........:)

in 1962 we were not defeated coz of strength of china, our own pm was enough to defeat us.
wat will happen if u r sent to fight with no ammunition in extreme condition with no safety of even health.
wat will happen if ur pm says to leave the land,no need to send more force and help to those who are already fighting.
so if u understand this then i think u may understand this.

but now india is not suffering from any of the above mentioned problem,so stop being illusional

Indians are just wasting of money in defense
at last they will be lost war with china.if India is strong than why they are not stopping the Chinese army in Kashmir & in Sikkim

may be they r wasting on defense but the last time i heard our military was not running our country,so no problem.

India is following the footsteps of the former USSR and will also go bankrupt just the USSR did back then.

The last time when i watched the failed state index, our name was not even in top 50 but one of our neighbor was topping the list.

Well I guess if you had sufficient courage you could have finished the enemy for good......but you retreated after realisation that marching ahead was of grave consequences.......intelligent decision.....I give it to you......:agree:

Our troops of Chengdu Military district are now regularly trained in Tibet which the condition is even more extreme than that of Nothern India.

We don't want the war it doesn't mean we can't afford one.

Beat up India would not send us to our grave.

But you guys are waiting for the opportunity to revenge and to backstab us, then we will extinguish this attempt.

nah revenge is not in our interest.....our interest lies in strengthing the economy and buiding a strong army.....not to mention 1962 gave us a much needed lesson.....and we are thakful to china in a way......

and yeah you are not in that position to do any significant harm to us.....

That is what Nehru thought in 1962 when he perused his aggressive "forward policy" against China. Or in 1959 when India hosted our largest separatist group.

It is not a good idea to make the same mistake twice. India's ill-intentions towards China are fine, as long as they keep them in check and act reasonably.

Apparently unlike you we can't afford a war now....hence our focus on not touching the sensive issues as of now.....with more economic growth you can surely expect more teeth....

and yeah in tibet ITBP has a strong network in there too.....

Nehru's plan was all good and fine as long as he had strong army to back up plan.......but then as I said we did had some very painful though useful lessons of that conflict......

Though I disagree with you that India and Indians have any ill intentions towards China and Chinese people.....but we should be prepared for any eventuality in our self interest....

and though I dont think we are going to make SAME mistake again....but yeah if that does happen rest assured you wont be dissappointed this time.......

No my friend, even Chinese cannot afford a war now

Many of the people u see here r far cut of from reality, especially the Chinese bunch here, seems to b a group of teenagers, war seems some console games for them, most talk about war and destruction of India more faster than breathing.

China is at a path of economic progress never seen in their history, with an aim and objective of more improved and economically advanced society even better than US,the last thing they want is a war.

Even if India force a war on them(according to Chinese people)and even India get defeated but still it will have a catastrophic consequence on both Chinese military and economy.

U will all time here about their assumption's about the small, incomparable nuclear arsenal of India based on some outdated NGO reports, but their govt know its better, therefore unlike some Chinese greenhorn's here say,China is never going on a war against India, and for India also the same.

.
my sincere thanks, look below ur post,i also thanked u there.

Yeah, appreciate that. :yahoo:

No one wants a war, but everyone can have its own ulterior motive. It is fine if India wants to make herself strong enough to deter against China, as long as India isn't doing anything stupid with our territory.

China's real goal is not to break India, but to create a good economically win-win partnership with India.
