You are quite right. Rural India decides the votes of India, not the Urban India nor the online people like us.
FOr that BJP have to effectively campaign the pros and cons of Modi. Or else they are going to end up opposition again. I am so sick of congress, that we need a change right now. And everything depends on Rural India. They have a year to change the rural votes.

Whats your problem? I was under the impression Pakistani people doesnt care whom we elect? Lets take Human lives (not Muslims or Hindus )for example.
Nearly 750 lives were lost in Gujarat riots in 2002. Lets even round up a figure of 1000 for ur sake.

Yearly 3000 lives are getting lost in Pakistan. So ur politicians are doing nothing. Y do u keep voting?
We need a change. Looting people's money is equal to taking lives.

Some politician looting money will result in a death of poor person somewhere. Its equal to murder.
So we want development and less loot and Modi fits the bill. ANd for last time sake, he was not implicated in riots. Just it happened in his state, he cannot be called guilty

That is exactly what's bound to happen. No single party can form government. Coalition parties are a fickle sort. What their vote bank says, they will preach.....atleast when it comes to propping leaders.
