Budget allocated for Israeli "Air Force One"

Possibly, I guess the idea for the used 767 MRTT-type that could be employable for other purposes has been shelved (from the "new" comment in current reports).

Minimum requirements would seem to be safe operation from Heathrow/De Gaulle to Dulles carrying about 20-odd cabinet, staff, and security.

The BBJ3 has ample space. I thought the 3,200 nautical mile range was a bit limiting but it is ETOPS-180 certified. The price of $71 million is in line with a well-negotiated deal on a non-luxury model.

The tail, fuselage length, and winglets seem to suggest a BBJ3.
I could be wrong, but the size from the pic indicates BBJ2.

hard to tell except from a side-on angle. my experience with photography and perspective shortening led me to believe it was closer to the BBJ3 but the difference is minute between the two anyway.

you are right, the 3,200 nm. figure for this (3,050 odd I believe for the BBJ2) is for 70-odd passengers, cargo, and no extra fuel tanks.

Still that much range and the ETOPS180 certification means it can fly without the extra tanks anywhere between Japan, Korea, Australia, Singapore, India, Central Asia, Turkey, Europe, and the United States without flying over undesired territory. Crossing the Pacific might be the only problem.
