Buddhists from Bangladesh resettle in Myanmar, Rohingya Muslims cry foul

I concur. U know AL scums were also directly involved. Police arrived very late there while the vandalism was started by local awami leaders/activists. The goal was simple to propagate that BD is becoming a terrorist state where minorities are not safe and that awami maggots are the only one who can protect them. U should have seen the reporting of scumbag outlets like prothom alo, daily farting star and other awami channels. They were doing propaganda as if all hell broke lose while prothom alo went a step further reporting death of a old lady who was not dead but alive. Later they apologized for the false report but the damage was done. Thankfully no one died. The ramu vandalism full filled the goals of Indo-awami loons of projecting BD as intolerant state showing muslims in a bad light while the burmese goal was to get BD buddist to settle in mayanmar.

This was carefully stage-managed by MIS using Bikhhus / monks. They moved people and valuable to safer places before the vandalism was enacted. And whatever damages were caused have been rebuilt in much larger and grand style.

.
Its about time to take in the 0.5-0.7 million Rohingyas stranded over there and let go off anyone who wants to live in Burma. I think its about time we start fully supporting every insurgency in Mayanmar. There are many minorities who are fighting for independence in Burma. Specially fully supporting the insurgency by rakhaines can become a huge headache for them. Its time to teach this Burman cave m*nkeys a lesson.

Malaysia and Indonesia are intelligent. Pakistan has little leverage and take their cues from China who are trying to maintain their waning influence on us and Bangladesh... well... it's Bangladesh. What the hell can Bangladesh to for anyone?

I shared same camp with barmeese ppl in Saudi .they seemed nice ppl.quite of them told me if they are tebbetian descendants (Muslims)then they are free of harassment. But problems starts with rakhain ppl.even some of them turn out to be Buddhist s.So as your neighbors can we ask what's with the white skin/dark skin thing going on?because BD is currently sheltering your ppl out of humanitarianism to whom you country failed to provide basic human needs.

You sure about that? I doubt their MIS has capability to conduct such an operation in a foreign land. If their intelligence was so powerful I bet it could have done something about the insurgents who regularly kicks the Burmese army's a$$.

And invite the displeasure of China, US and India. Best of luck with that course. IF Myanmar is unable to handle it then they'll go running to China..after that its going to be a very short but interesting run for you folks.

@alaungphaya Dude I get it, you people don't consider the Rohingyas to be Burmese, fine. But do you have to push them out like this? Brother they leave empty handed, not a penny on them and starving. Can you imagine that sort of hardship? And these days wherever they they go they get turned around..sometimes right back into the sea to drift and starve. Can Myanmar not find any humane settlement with them?

@BD:- Dude its not going to work, leave it be. We had that big thread with KingMamba about this very topic? Even we've tried to talk to them, very politely- that just don't go Pol-Pot on these people they don't deserve that surely. Needless to say it didn't work. Everyone is courting Myanmar's favor, the Americans, us (India-Burma-Thailand highway, Sitwe port and natural gas pipe lines), China, the EU which is just lifting its sanctions on them and has given its official consent to now normalize relations and jump head first into trade. We all have BIG investments there but not the stamina atm to do anything concrete to turn them from their path with regard to the Rohingyas.

@asad71 Do you ever spout anything but conspiracy theories...the Burmese know enough to not try and operate in RAW's area of operations. :coffee: Stop cheapening everything you come across.

We all know that in the real world you can't just put two communities together, especially two impoverished communities, with diametrically opposed views and values together and expect them to live in harmony. Something's got to give. Better to be sent back to their historic homeland than be persecuted by the Arakanese. It's a tough situation but it is what it is.

This report is to be read in the context of the Ramu pagoda incident. These two affairs, when connected, form a mosaic easy to read. The Burmese MIS planned the Ramu pagoda incident to encourage BD Rakhines to move into Arakan. Such a diabolical plan can only come out of a diabolical race like the Burmans.

Certain aspects of Ramu incidents worthy of attention:

Is a facebook pic supposed to raise such a public clamor in a small, not so developed district town like Cox'sbazar?

In case of blasphemous incidents it's the mullahs who are agitated the most but here we saw local Awami League leaders were leading all the hue and cry.

The miscreants attacked mainly temples. No-one got killed or even injured in the attacks. It seems the miscreants were careful not to take lives and thereby complicate the matter but create the maximum psychological effect by burning their temples.

Lastly as with all temple-burning idol-breaking incidents of recent time no significant legal progress was exhibited by the government.

..................................................................
We should look into these matters and find out if any neighboring nation just used Awami League to create this fear among the Buddhist community thus persuading the ethnic minority Buddhists to migrate to Arakan and uproot the Rohingyas from there to secure their goal of de-Islamizing the beech-head in Myanmar which had the potential to give BD a certain leverage over the progress of a desired BD-Myanmar relations. One has to wonder why a country like Burma which had no historical enmity with BD suddenly enacted the 1982 citizenship law (the peak time of CHT conflicts), just to get rid of a few hundreds of thousands people of supposedly Bengali origin from a sparsely populated vast country inhabited by more than two hundred ethnicities.

Brother is there no way to integrate them into your society? What is the consensus of the common people of your country, do a majority want to push out the Rohingyas? But what of the hardships that they face when they get sent out, can't Myanmar do something to at least mitigate that if nothing else? After all some humanitarian considerations must be looked at, no?

You have to be specific. It is not the Myanmar society as a whole, but the Arakanese society. Their very existence and their homeland and livelihoods are being threatened by fecundus Bangladeshi immigrants. If the government got heavy handed, everyone would cry foul about the Burmese military boogie man stamping their authority with force. There is no real way to win other than to let Bangladesh sort it out.

I also think that Bangladeshis tacitly accept that this is their problem but they don't want to face up to it because of the lack of money. Well, just because you are poor, you are not absolved of your responsibilities.

Indian intellegence is involved in burma. In our current security scenario anything is possible. We are pretty much defence less now. The border in many cases remain unguarded. Courtesy to digital din bodol.

You think we can stop the Chinese from intervening, you think that soldiers and proxies are the only options they have?

Currently Chinese influence is waning in Myanmar. U.S. influence is rising in Myanmar. Indian influence has stabilized. In any conflict we at least will only try and maintain status quo.

But...the Chinese can use their support to gain back all their influence by aiding Myanmar in such a situation. Or the Americans can pull the Burmese completely into their camp by aiding them too. You don't have so many options.

You want to trust the US? Myanmar borders China, NOT BD, from there the US can do quite a bit of damage if its gets unprecedented access..a far more worthy remuneration for services rendered. You really want to gamble on it? You will either earn the marginal support of the US while baring the full force of China's displeasure or earn the wrath of both nations. Neither is a good idea. Tread carefully. AND if your proposed initiative creates a blow-back for us in our NE states? You think we won't tighten the screws too then?

What does Bangladesh have to offer other than slave labour textiles?

Man lying through your teeth proved how ignorant you are .are you referring your own countrymen as Bangladeshi? And we are sorting out the problem by not letting Burmese illegal immigrants come inside BD.can you give proof of BDs tacitly accepting Burmese problems as BDs own?what's you responsibility as a human to your fellow countrymen?
