৩৪ একর জমি দখল নিয়ে বিজিবি বিএসএফ পর্যায়ের পতাকা বৈঠক


পঞ্চগড়ে সীমান্তে ক্ষুদিপাড়া গ্রামসহ ৩৪ একর জমি দখল করে নেয়ার ঘটনায় বিজিবি বিএসএফ পর্যায়ের পতাকা বৈঠক অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে। বৈঠকে উচ্চ পর্যায়ের সিদ্ধান্ত না হওয়া পর্যন্ত আগের অবস্থা বহাল রাখার সিদ্ধান্ত নেয়া হয়েছে।
৩৪ একর জমির মালিকানা নিয়ে বৃহস্পতিবার সকাল সাড়ে ১০ টায় হাড়িভাসা সীমান্তের ৭৫৩ মেইন পিলার সংলগ্ন জিরো লাইন বরাবরে বিজিবি ও বিএসএফের ব্যাটালিয়ন পর্যায়ে এ বৈঠক অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। এতে বাংলাদেশের পক্ষে ১৮ বিজিবি ব্যাটালিয়ন কমান্ডার লেফটেন্যান্ট কর্নেল জাকির হোসেন এবং ভারতের পক্ষে নেতৃত্ব দেন সিংপাড়া ৪৮ বিএসএফ ব্যাটালিয়নের কমান্ডার বিজয় সিং।
আড়াই ঘন্টার এ বৈঠক অনেকটাই সফল বলে দাবি করেছে বিজিবি। কর্নেল জাকির হোসেন জানান, যেহেতু এ ব্যাপারে ওপরের পর্যায় থেকে সিদ্ধান্ত আসবে সে পর্যন্ত আগে যেভাবে ছিলো সবাই সেভাবে থাকবে।

if this has happened how could bsf just walk and take 34 acres and where was bgb after all they are their to stop anybody from taking an inch of their land right

i would say if this has happened then its more bgb failure infact its a big failure that means bsf can come and take anything they want in km square they took

Our farmland is only 21,000,000 acres. So, 34 acres is too large for us. By the way, the Bengali news report's last line says both parties have agreed to honour the original status quo of the land. It means Indian BSF has agreed to vacate the land and its final status will be decided at the top political level of two Capitals. I think, this is fair.
