The report says that there is intense firing from the pakistani side, which means that is a cover up for infiltrating terrorists from pakistan.
So when the our DIG went to check out the "out post" which was damaged by shelling he was assasinated by the infiltrated terrorists.
Then after wards Indian forces went for combing the area.

I want to ask you where is the fun part?

Jana Even if we put all the Army men in the border its not easy to control the infiltration..You can see with all those latest gadgets US cant control the illegal immigrants coming from Mexico and all other countries..The intelligence and Army has to get lucky every time to stop infiltration but the infiltrators need to be lucky one time to enter in to a country

I would like to ask you and some others this, I pointed out something and it got edited because of the language that i had used. Any ways i will try to put it in the best possible way. The thing is that when an Indian soldier is in Kashmir let’s call it that and not IOK for your satisfaction. We on the other side look at them as occupiers and oppressors of normal human rights of the Kashmiri Muslims. And every one remembers the killings, and raping with the disappearances of thousands of Kashmiri men and women. Now tell me something that would he have though twice when he has though that the person on the other side might want to kill him. He had shot at him first and then investigated because he is in the middle of a war. It is the same Indian army whose pic's were proudly displayed with them walking over the dead bodies of Kashmiris and many of the Indian posters here celebrating. Also from what i have read all the people who have laughed at this are not laughing at the soldier that died, it is the media that is being laughed at for fabricating the story. On a side note i don’t feel any joy in what happened to guy, of course what we all chose to ignore is that this is not one story that is being discussed here but this one death had many other life’s connected to it and many deaths happened due to this one. I feel sorry for the family that lost a person. But sorry to say that i am not sorry for the Indian soldier who is occupying Kashmir.

There may be human rights violation in Kashmir in the past (to some extent not all that your media portray). The fact is lot has changed from the past. Today if any thing wrong happens to Kashmiris the whole community is protesting peacefully which is changing lot of things in Kashmir.
India is preparing to give powers back to JK police instead of armed forces ( which consists a large portion of recruits from J and K).
The fact there is lot of decrease in local militancy shows that Indian policies are working for peace and prosperity in J and K. The recent encounters show that the killed are recruits from the other side of the border again these youth are recruited by portraying India as human rights oprresser and ... which is not entirely true.

The life of Let commander once crossed the border is mere 6 months before he dies. Our armed forces are doing a great job. Its is true that India cannot stop the all the infiltrations but once they cross the border their life span is very low. Our intelligence network is working at its best. The fencing of the LOC has stopped 80 % of infiltration bids.

Jana ji the report says that DIG went to check the condition of the "post" which came under heavy firing. So there is a chance that the infiltrators have already crossed the border and laid the explosives.
The report does that indicate that the infiltrators went back to the other side of the border.
