Well if it is like India then it is a sad day for humanity.

I worked here in the U.S. with someone from India whose parents were sending him pictures of potential brides.

He had this skin tone color chart to compare against their pics.
He'd ask my opinion and I'd just shake my head.

I have never stereotyped this behavior to any specific nationality. Whe I said "5 ft kalia", let me tell you, I have seen this phrase against BDeshis a lot.

The fact that we all are victim of racism, that's why we feel offended when someone call us dark?
