British Typhoons beat Indias Sukhois in joint exercises

.
It looks like India will buy rafale but Typhoon is the best choice...

.
well , even if we presume it to be the 2010 exercises, then why did RAF take 1.5 years to say this. Everyone takes pride to showcase one's success at the earliest.
So, in my point of view, this seems as the last minute effort to push for the deal as i read that here that financial bids were opening in a week's time.

But , on the other hand, this statement could well backfire for EADS

It's actually not that surprising when you compare it with other similar releases. When it was reported that the EF was beaten by Rafale in BVR combats and dogfights, the consortium suddenly came out with this:

Eurofighter:  News Detail

And we also remember the media speculations about an Indian ambassador in Italy, that said the EF was leading to Italian officials, or the recent comments that EF was more capable in A2G than Rafale in the Libyan conflict and now this. It wasn't the first time that the media of EF partner countries reported something in favour for EF, it's simply part of the game to get attention by the media, or the public, or to distract from shortfalls.

No denying to fact Euro Fighter will have edge over MKIs due better TWR ratio and small RCS. MKI beats Euro figter when it comes to range and the fact MKI is twin seater and has more power radars. MKI is in league of fighter like F15. Typhoon belong to class of fighters like Rafale and f16 , Mig29. Comparing MKI to Typhoons is like comparing oranges to apples.
MKI when they would go on mission they would go along with Mig29s and Mig21 in order to counter the challenges what fighter belonging to the class of Typhoon might put in front of them.
