British High Commissioner Thomas Drew thanked Pak Army on rescuing British climbers

British High Commissioner to Pakistan Thomas Drew thanked Pakistan Army for rescuing five stranded mountaineers.

Thomas Drew wrote on Twitter
“Thank you. Yet again the pilots of Pakistan Army did an astonishing job. Our thanks to them and everyone else who made this happen.”

Earlier the rescued British climber thanked Pakistan Army.

“Message of thanks from the Rescued British Climbers from Koyo Zom Hindu Raj mountains Pakistan,
“Thanks pak Army aviation, thanks pilots, thanks British Ambassador Thomas Drew
You all saved precious lives.”

Earlier on September 3, Pakistan Army had rescued five British mountaineers from a 22,500 feet mountain after they had fallen and injured from Koee Broghail Glacier in Chitral.

Deputy Commissioner Chitral had said that Pakistan Army had rescued British climbers John James, William Tayler, Alastair Swinton, Thomas Livingstone and Uisdean Hawthorn. Later, they had been shifted to a hospital through an Army helicopter.

Previously, every year Pakistan Army rescues the climbers from all around the world. Pakistani Northern snow-clad mountains are opened for the climbers and Pakistan army always keep its services active for the tourists. Pakistan army has always been famous for working efficiently in catastrophic situations also the army personnel are best trained to tackle any kind of tough situation and that makes us proud of Pakistan Army.
