Britain purchased an anti-skimmer system for Raphael's Rapone, the manufacturer confirmed to Janes on August 13. The choice comes eight months after a demonstration of capability for the British government last January. According to Raphael, Britain will receive radar (radar), an electro-optical detection system and frequency blocking capabilities, but not the laser.
The identification is provided by a combination of the RPS-42 pMHR S-band RADA with full 360 ° coverage, the Controp MEOS system and the NetSense Wideband detection sensor developed by Netline.
The radar usually has a range of about 50 km for a transport-size target, but for the target group for the Drone Dome, the radar provides a range of detection between 3.5 km to 10 km.
